One hour before the New Year's coming all people from Sega Sonic worked or befriended with were invited to celebrate together, also to share the most enjoyable moment at his home.

Sonic looked over for a moment then smiled warmly before giving out a soft sigh. He kept watching every move of people, especially his family and best buddies too.

"-I can't believe how fast time has flied! I wonder what plans they've got for games! Or little movies maybe?" he grinned. "Gotta look forward these new things in future!"

Then he heard a familiar voice.

"-Nostalgia, huh?"

As Sonic turned around.

"-Oh, Uncle Chuck! Yes totally. 20 years....Can you believe this?"

Uncle Chuck nodded with a chuckle.

"-Indeed, sonny."

"-Well. Going to check on mom right now." with that he hugged him, which after that Uncle Chuck returned the same.

So Sonic went outside and no longer time after he found his mother, named Bernie, working a little bit on very shiny tinsels together with Jules, Uncle Chuck's little brother. He just smiled as he approached them.

His father was struggling to put the fragile tinsel on right place so it would not fall. When he managed to finish that he threw a look and finally noticed Sonic while Bernie was busy with cookies.

"-Hey mom, dad!" said Sonic with a wave. "Is everything fine?"

"-Are you kidding?! Your mom putting me to work instead of Charles?"

"-Of course he did something, dear. he's been cleaning all day. While you were just simply watching TV, no joke"

"-Oh wow you stalked on me again! Anyway good one, Bernie..." Jules chuckles for a moment then looked at Sonic. "Just kidding. Aside that do you need something?"

Sonic looked away with a laugh then back.

"-Not really...but hey if that's what you call it brotherly love, I can get it!" he grinned.

"-Brotherly love.....Always been a pain in neck and will always continue..."

Sonic bursts into laughter. He really loved his father's silly games with Uncle Chuck. Absolutely funny, isn't it?

After a moment Jules broke this silence

"-Oh almost forgot to tell you something son!"

"-What, dad?" asked Sonic with curiosity.

Meanwhile we could see someone sitting in living room looking at the beautiful Christmas decorations shaped as fireworks and such. Soon we realize it's Classic Sonic, the old version of actual Sonic.

Classic Sonic jerked suddenly at the loud voice.

"-Hey you! I never expected to see you-me being here!" said Sonic surprised.

Classic Sonic noticed it was just him as he sighed with relief but he simply shrugged and didn't bother to give a smile.

Sonic glanced at him with small sarcasm.

Classic Sonic quickly pointed at his chili dog and gave a thumb up making Sonic understand that it was very tasty.

"-Oh geez say something! You're not deaf right? Any heroes don't need any stupid sign language, right?"

Classic Sonic glared slightly at hm for this bad comment, feeling a bit irritated. He really wishes he could do but since his appearance in 91' games he was always mute. But what he could do is just think and show gestures.

"-Fine you may stop giving me that look, little past-me!" Sonic sighed. "But I don't remember to have invited you!" this time he said in calm tone.

Classic Sonic sighed and looked down but looked up quickly, his face being lighted a lot, and tries to tell him that he came here for a reason. he also pointed to the tinsels from ceiling with a cute smile. Then threw his finger to his modern version surprising him that Classic Sonic really wanted to have some fun with him.

"-Ah, now I see....." mumbled Sonic trying to smile. "Hm, I guess welcome?"

Classic Sonic gasped before grinning happily. Before Sonic would know he started hugging him showing some affection toward Sonic.

"-.....What a kid..." Sonic couldn't help it but chuckled. He slowly smiled at old times, yet he regretted how much he forgot about his past. "I'm sorry about that. I really didn't me-"

All of a sudden Classic Sonic broke the huggle and shook his head explaining that it's okay and there's no need to be worried. He simply gave a thumb up.

"-Alright...." Sonic noticed the time. "Oh whoa! We got only 10 min before New Year's coming! Let's better hurry, shall we?" Classic Sonic nodded.

"-Ah there you're, sonny! I've been calling you twice!"

"-I know just got stuck in a small conversation, Uncle Chuck."

Uncle Chuck raised his eyebrow till Classic Sonic finally made his appearance infront of them. He just waved in a very cute way.

"-Uh. what? A kid?" asked Uncle Chuck confused.

"-Long story but to explain you shortly he's my classic version from very first games. Aaaaaand PS he's mute. I promise I will tell you the rest later once we're done with party, okay?" Sonic smiled.

Uncle Chuck blinked then smiled back nodding.

3.........2..........1............ _HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

The fireworks ran everywhere like crazy drunk girls, while the noises shocking almost everyone especially Silver who has just fainted thinking he really got shot. Near him there was Shadow who just laughed evilly while holding the glass with champagne.

"-Happy New Year, little past-me!" yelled Sonic as he picked his classic version up and gently puts him on his shoulder. Classic Sonic looked at him and chuckled.

They continued watching till.......morning?
